Service Learning

Service Learning at AISB combines community service with educational instruction to foster a strong sense of community and teach social responsibility.

Each of our Service Learning projects follows a five-step process: investigation, preparation, action, reflection, and demonstration.
 

AISB's Service Learning projects include:
 

1. Activities that promote environmental stewardship
2. Charity drives for clothes, food, and books
3. Support for animal shelters, elderly homes, homeless shelters, and schools for the educationally and physically challenged in our community
4. Partnership initiatives with our Senegal partner school
5. Assistance for a children’s home in Romania
6. Fundraising for the Hungarian "Make a Wish" Foundation
