Exciting News: New Dining Partnership with Thomas Franks

We are pleased to announce that, beginning August 2025, the American International School of Budapest will welcome Thomas Franks as our new catering partner.

Founded in 2004, Thomas Franks is an award-winning, family-owned company known for its commitment to serving exceptional, healthy, and diverse meals to schools and communities around the world. Their philosophy of using fresh, seasonal ingredients—sourced from local, family-owned suppliers—reflects AISB’s commitment to sustainability and supporting our wider community.

The Thomas Franks team goes far beyond simply preparing delicious food. Their talented chefs work hand-in-hand with an in-house Nutrition Team to design menus that are creative, balanced, and nutritionally sound. Our students and staff will also benefit from the expertise of their development chefs, culinary directors, nutritionists, and sustainability specialists, ensuring a holistic and dynamic approach to our dining program.

At AISB, we understand that healthy eating habits are essential to student well-being and development. We are especially excited about Thomas Franks’ dedication to engaging with our whole school community. Together, we look forward to creating positive dining experiences where all our students can explore new tastes, learn about nutrition, and enjoy meals that fuel their learning.

Transportation

AISB collaborates with a local independent operator to provide door-to-door bus service for students. While this service is recommended, it is not mandatory. Many students in the neighborhood walk or bike to school, and the Budapest public bus service stops right outside our campus.
