General Medical Requirements
A recent medical examination is required for admission, including documentation of known allergies and any special dietary needs.
A Medical Examination and History Form must be completed by a physician in English.
All applicants must meet our General Medical Requirements and Current Immunization Requirements.
Mandatory Immunization Requirements
For Early Childhood (EC3, EC4 for ages 3-4):
- HIB/Hib: Complete series of 4 doses
- OPV/IPV: Total of 5 doses
- DPT/DT: 4 doses
- MMR: One dose or individual vaccines after age 12 months
For Kindergarten (K) - Grade 12:
- HIB/Hib: Complete series or one dose if under age 5
- OPV/IPV: Total of 5 doses; sixth dose due at age 6
- DPT/DT: 5 doses by age 6; booster at age 11
- MMR: One dose for K-5; second dose for grades 6-12
- HEP B: Complete series of three doses around age 14
If a student has never been immunized or is behind on immunizations, the Hungarian Health Authority physician will create an appropriate schedule to safeguard everyone’s health.
Proof of immunity from Measles, Mumps, and/or Rubella can be established through a doctor’s letter or blood test showing adequate antibody levels.
For students unable to meet these requirements for medical reasons, a signed doctor's statement in English must be submitted for review by the Hungarian Health Authority physician.
All students are required to have their medical records complete in English before admission to AISB.
