Our Campus

At AISB, our state-of-the-art campus is not just a place of learning; it’s a breathtaking environment often hailed as one of the most beautiful school campuses in the world!

Nestled on a sprawling 33-acre site in Nagykovácsi, AISB operates three distinct divisions, conveniently located near the lush residential suburbs of Budapest and just a short distance from the vibrant heart of the city’s business, commerce, and cultural districts.

Our campus features two main buildings connected by a bridge. The Elementary building accommodates students from Early Childhood 3 to Grade 5, while the Middle and High School building serves Grades 6 through 12. This thoughtfully designed layout fosters a sense of community and collaboration among our entire student body, creating an engaging and stimulating learning atmosphere.

Adjacent to our campus lies national forest land that is part of the Buda Landscape Protection District, established in 1978 for conservation purposes. The Buda Mountains, composed of dolomites, limestone, and younger sedimentary rock, create diverse habitats that support endemic species.

Prominent ecological communities include:

1. Deciduous Forests: Dominated by various oak species, these forests thrive depending on slope, precipitation, and aspect.
2. Protected Species: Home to unique beetles, moths, butterflies, as well as birds like the black woodpecker and green warbler.
3. Meadows and Rock Faces: These areas provide microhabitats for many organisms, enhancing our campus's natural beauty.
