World Languages
Our world language courses are designed to empower students to communicate with confidence, fostering connections and expanding their understanding of the world. Language learning is a vital component of developing intercultural competence in today’s increasingly globalized society.
World Language classes at AISB are organized by proficiency level rather than grade level. We proudly offer French, German, and Spanish at all levels to accommodate learners of those languages.
English as an Additional Language
We recognize language as a vital tool for thinking and expressing ideas. The EAL program at AISB provides tailored support for students developing their academic English skills over time.
Learning Support Services
Our Learning Support program offers personalized organizational and academic assistance to students identified as needing extra support. The Learning Support Teacher collaborates closely with grade-level teams to ensure these students receive the help they require.
Advisory
The advisory program is an essential aspect of the middle school experience at AISB. It provides students with opportunities to develop a sense of belonging within the larger school community while honing skills related to time management, organization, decision-making, healthy living, goal setting, and reflection.
