The American International School of Budapest (AISB) seeks to appoint a Speech Language Therapist (40% part-time) with an immediate start date.

Reports To: Elementary School Principal
Position Overview
The teacher reports directly to the Elementary Administration. The goals of the Speech Language Therapist (SLT) include improving pronunciation, strengthening the muscles used in speech, and learning to speak correctly. The SLT helps people who have difficulty communicating and breaks down the barriers that result from speech impediments. This role includes screening, assessment, 1:1 and small group work with students. The SLT will also support faculty and staff and may be called upon to do information sessions with teachers. What the part-time allocation will look like will be determined by the ES Administration in conjunction with the SLT.

Qualifications
Holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Science, Speech-Language Pathology, or Speech-Language Therapy from an accredited higher education institution.
Registration in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries with a professional registration board for Speech and Language Pathologists is a strong advantage
A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical or school practice.
